Ellen Weeren

Ellen started writing again when her family moved across the ocean to New Delhi, India. She started a blog to capture the experiences she knew would fade with time. Since returning to the U.S., Ellen has turned her pencil to fiction and personal essays. Her work has been published by Kenyon Review (online) Liar’s League NYC, Hong Kong Review, Stonecoast Review, Writer Unboxed, My Name is Not Bob, and others. Ellen graduated from George Mason University with an MFA (Fiction). While at Mason, she taught Composition and Literature. She is working on a novel titled “In the Dust of Elephants” and a short story collection. Ellen loves to teach as much as she loves to write. To help students prepare/improve their college application essays, she offers tutoring services through her company called Make My Essay Better. Her goal is not only to get a good essay down but to help her students be more confident writers – to share her passion.
She is thankful you stopped by!
